Art in the Docks Presents: Sustainable Fashion at London Fashion Week

Art in the Docks is proud to announce a special fashion event during London Fashion Week, spotlighting local success stories and the future of sustainable design.
Led by two graduates of the University of East London (UEL), the showcase will feature innovative, community-driven fashion brands built on principles of creativity, responsibility, and inclusivity.
Toluwaleye Odunsi
Toluwaleye Odunsi is an MSc International Business Management graduate from the University of East London, and founder of Folabomi House of Fashion, an Afrocentric clothing brand championing sustainability through zero-waste practices. Her brand focuses on contemporary womenswear, sustainability, and cultural heritage, creating fashion that blends artistry with social impact. Every fabric scrap is repurposed into new designs, including clothing for underserved children in Africa.
Rooted in her East London journey and her work with Art in the Docks, Toluwaleye is committed to using fashion as a platform for innovation and community engagement, with a strong focus on sustainability, local collaboration and community impact. She is also the Chairperson of the Folabomi Foundation, which since 2018 has clothed and fed over 1,500 underserved children and empowered more than 1,000 underserved youth with educational and vocational skills through its Project Dream Big initiative.
Her leadership and community impact have earned her recognition, including the Young Fashion Leader Award (2020) and the Best Delegate Award (2024) presented by the Mayor of Newham.
Ose Okpamen
Ose Okpamen is a Nigerian-born fashion designer and entrepreneur, renowned as the founder and creative director of Hollerose, established in 2010. She holds an MSc in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University and an MBA from the University of East London (2024), combining strong business strategy with creative innovation.
Drawing from her background in health, safety, and environmental practices, Ose integrates sustainable methods into her design process, with a strong focus on waste reduction and circular fashion. With over a decade of experience, she has built Hollerose into a brand that celebrates African heritage with contemporary sophistication, while advocating for responsible fashion that minimizes environmental impact. Her journey from energy management to fashion design reflects her versatility, dedication, and commitment to reshaping the industry through both creativity and sustainability.

Women in Business: Celebrating female entrepreneurs from East London who are shaping the creative industries and redefining what it means to lead with impact.
Community Engagement: Residents of Newham will play a central role in the show, with opportunities to participate as models, makeup artists, and creatives, ensuring the event reflects the people it represents.

The Royal Docks as a Creative Hub: Supporting Newham’s vision of the Royal Docks as a global centre for innovation, enterprise, and culture, while shining a spotlight on local talent.
