A series of arts and crafts workshop will take place at Art in the Docks. We will then parade through the community with lanterns aglow and a brass band leading the way. The procession will end at Cafe Spice, where warm drinks, mince pies, and a community sing along awaits.
LANTERN WORKSHOP
Shine bright with our Glowing Lantern Workshop!
You’ll decorate a lantern using easy, shiny metallic stickers, ribbons, and decorative accents. With friendly guidance and plenty of supplies, you’ll create a lantern that you can parade around Royal Albert Wharf. It’s a relaxed, hands-on activity you can enjoy at any skill level.
HORN MAKING
Make some noise at our Sound-Making Horn Workshop!
You’ll assemble a simple, functional horn using beginner-friendly materials and clear, step-by-step guidance. After creating and personalising your horn, you’ll get to try it out and even join in with the Brass Volcanoes jazz band for a festive jam.
STAR MAKING
Sparkle at our Shiny Star-on-a-Stick Workshop!
You’ll create your own handheld star using simple craft materials, metallic papers, and plenty of shiny ribbons, With friendly guidance and lots of glittery options to choose from, you’ll design a star that gleams in the light, then join in with parade around Royal Albert Wharf and shine brightly through the streets.
