Esmond Levi Yao is a young filmmaker based in East London. His graduate film 'Switch On' screened at national and international film festivals. Since then, he has been shortlisted for the inaugural Young Black Filmmakers’ Fund and his short 'Blake' was supported by Roundhouse's yearly Film Fund. His goal is to write and direct stories that are close to his heart.
