Henrietta Mbeah-Bankas, Strategic Advisor, Creative Health Systems

Henrietta is a Registered Mental Health Nurse, has operated as a senior NHS England leader and specialist in health innovation, education and workforce reform. She has extensive experience working at  local, national and international level to improve access, reduce health inequalities, and develop scalable models of care and education for underserved communities.

At Art in the Docks, Henrietta provides strategic guidance on aligning community-led creative health programmes with research evidence and policy priorities. Also, strengthening evaluation frameworks, and developing pathways between grassroots engagement and formal health systems. Her expertise supports the organisation’s ambition to position creative practice as an accessible, credible and preventative approach to health and wellbeing in East London boroughs.
