Jameelah Webster

Jameelah Webster is a Community Manager at the University of East London’s Royal Docks Centre for Sustainability, where she works at the intersection of community engagement, sustainability, enterprise and inclusive growth. As part of the centre’s founding team, she has helped shape partnerships and programmes that connect local people, students, businesses and organisations through practical opportunities for learning, collaboration and social impact.

Her work is rooted in East London and focuses on building meaningful relationships between institutions and communities, with a strong interest in creative engagement, knowledge exchange and place-based change. Jameelah brings experience in developing community strategy, supporting cross-sector partnerships and creating programmes that centre access, participation and long-term value for local residents.

As a trustee of Art in the Docks, she is committed to championing creative practice as an important part of community life, local identity and inclusive regeneration in the Royal Docks.
