In Shape Exhibition

This student-curated, multi-disciplinary showcase provided opportunities for local residents and amateur artists who have attended Art in the Docks creative workshops and classes to show their work alongside students and professional artists.
This ‘Between People’ project was a fantastic exercise in community engagement between the university, Art in the Docks and the local resident communities. The initiative was sparked by the students themselves and paves the way for a new wave of intergenerational cultural dialogue.
The "In Shape" art exhibition at the University of East London (UEL) (Feb 17–21, 2026) is a student-curated, multi-disciplinary showcase at the Between People Gallery, AVA Building.
