Phoebe Ridgway

Phoebe Ridgway, born in Dorset, is a London-based artist whose practice explores movement, landscape, and the relationship between the body and its environment. Her work reflects an ongoing interest in how physical experience shapes, and is shaped by, place.

Phoebe works at Art in the Docks as a Creative Producer, where she leads on youth engagement and schools programmes. Her work focuses on developing thoughtful, inclusive opportunities for young people to connect with creativity, supporting meaningful experiences with art both in and beyond the classroom.

She studied Fine Art at Leeds Arts University (2014–2017) and later completed an MFA in Painting at the Slade School of Fine Art (2019–2022). She undertook a Postgraduate Course in Therapeutic Arts at IATE (2023 - 2024), further informing her interest in the connections between creativity, wellbeing, and embodied experience.

Alongside her work with Art in the Docks, Phoebe works as an Arts Specialist across two primary schools in Newham, supporting creative learning and engagement in education.
