Belonging at Royal Albert Wharf- FREE Event
Explore the story of Royal Albert Wharf through resident voices, architecture and photography, examining belonging, community and inclusion. Taking place at Art in the Docks Gallery, this free event brings together residents, architects and delivery partners to reflect on how the neighbourhood has evolved over the past decade.
What to expect:
From 5pm Explore a resident-led photographic exhibition and community artwork capturing everyday life at Gallions Reach, with light refreshments provided.
From 5.50pm Join a panel discussion led by Mayor’s Design Advocate Daisy Froud, in conversation with lead architect Richard Lavington and project partners, exploring the original vision and how the area has evolved over time. There will also be opportunities to share your own views on how people look after the neighbourhood, how to encourage local stewardship, and what helps communities thrive - a chance to be part of the conversation.
Part of the London Festival of Architecture 2026 and At the Docks.
