Safe Guarding for Creative Professionals

A practical, welcoming safeguarding training session for creative professionals.

This session is designed for the realities of arts, cultural and creative-health practice: workshops, performances, public events, schools, community venues and informal wellbeing activity.

CHeX Newham brings together local creative, cultural, community, health and education partners to widen access to high-quality creative health and wellbeing opportunities across the borough. This training supports practitioners to deliver that work confidently, safely and with clear professional boundaries.

Who should attend?

This introductory session is suitable for:

· Freelance artists, workshop leaders and creative facilitators

· Producers, project managers, assistants and volunteers

· Trustees and staff of arts, community and creative-health organisations

· Practitioners working in schools, youth settings, libraries, housing estates, public spaces and wellbeing groups

· Anyone who may encounter a safeguarding concern through their creative work

No previous safeguarding training is required.

This event will be online.
